Join the Q&A
In preparation for the start of the Social Anxiety Process Group, I have anticipated from the previous group, what might be holding you back from joining, but when I blog or share on social media, it still misses the connection you might need to feel safe with someone, to trust that they are who you need them to be.
Because of this, I've decided to hold a Q&A on Monday 19th February at 1 pm.
I'll hold the Q&A in video form using Zoom, you can register for the session in the contact form below and I will send you out a link to join. You won't be seen on video as I will hold the session with only my video live and I will also mute the microphones; there is a chat element to the call which will allow you all to ask anything you like about how the course runs and if it's right for you.
Write 'add me to the Q&A' in the message section of the form, and add your questions if you can't make it.
If you can't make the call, you can still register and add your questions and I will also answer them in the call and email it out to you.
Don't be alone and don't continue to live in fear of what has the potential to make your life much more fulfilled.
When: Every Wednesday, 7.00-9.00 for 6 weeks (Next Start Date – March 7th - April 11th)
Where: My office – 12 Princes Avenue, Hull, HU5 3QA.
Fee: £40 pp, per 2 hour session
What to expect:
I decided to begin this process group for those who can’t financially commit to open-ended psychotherapy with me around their anxiety. Instead, this 6 weeks group will explore the nature of social anxiety, together with tools and strategies to help you understand and manage your anxiety better.
Each week we will begin with a check-in on how the week has been in context of your anxiety, and what you learned, in terms of theory and strategies, from the week before. Through the group process, we will work through your cognitive and emotional barriers, and set goals for the week ahead.
All group members will contract to confidentiality to make the space safe for exploring your difficulties.
Why work with me?
I have been working in the area of anxiety for over 10 years and have had great successes with clients who have experienced PTSD and varying degrees of anxiety. I'm looking forward to working with you; facilitating the change you want to make.
What do I do next?
To joining the group, please show your interest using the contact form below; please also use the form for any questions you have regarding the group.
The fee for the first week is used as a deposit to secure your place, please indicate how you would like to pay for this on the form below.
Your deposit is fully refundable up to 2 weeks before the start date.
The group is a membership group therefore all initially agreed sessions must be paid for, as you commit to being a full member of the group.
All dates will be provided on sign up and you will have the opportunity then, to let me know if you can’t make any of them. For the agreed dates you can’t make, you will not be charged. This allows the group to be financially sustainable and therefore to run in its entirety, without new members being needed if anyone becomes unavailable or leaves. You must be able to attend a minimum of 5 sessions to be eligible for the group and to make sure you get the most out of it.
I'm looking forward to working with you!
